Handsome goldtone elephant pin by Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Measures 2 5/16" wide and 1 5/16" high. Marked MMA as well as 3 symbols on the back. Can be worn as a necklace - has a loop in the back for a chain.  Excellent condition.
