New in the original box, amethyst crystal heart earrings from the Smithsonian Institution Jewelry Collection.  According to the information that comes with the boxed pair of earrings these are "reproduced from a Victorian pin in the Gem and Mineral Hall. A faceted heart-shaped amethyst-colored crystal stone is richly accented with glistening clear crystals, hand set in an antiqued finish." The goldtone earrings are clip on - can be tightened with a screw mechanism. The measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" wide. Excellent new condition.
